Oct 6, 2014

Appsee, a leading mobile analytics platform that enables companies to measure and optimize the user experience in their apps, announced today the completion of a $2 million financing round. The funding will be used to expand R&D effort, roll-out additional features on its iOS analytics platform and introduce an Android version of the technology. Participating in the round are existing investors - Giza VC and Moshe Lichtman, as well as new investor Flint Capital. This round of funding follows a $1 million seed round that was completed last October.

“Appsee’s goal is to provide our app publishers with the critical insights needed to not only improve the user experience, but also to increase engagement, retention and in-app monetization," said Zahi Boussiba, Co-Founder and CEO of Appsee. “This funding will allow us to continue strengthening our product and expand our global reach in strategic markets, while continuing to service our thousands of customers around the world."

Appsee clients include companies like British Gas, MySupermarket, Hudl and 365Scores.

Appsee’s client-side SDK can be easily integrated into existing apps. Since launching its iOS platform less than a year ago, Appsee has worked with thousands of developers, with over 70% of Appsee clients reporting that they have used Appsee's insights to make significant changes to their apps, including optimizing the UI/UX design, and improving the onboarding experience and in-app purchase processes.

“We are very excited to extend our investment in Appsee and be part of a company that we believe will significantly change the way publishers build their apps," said Zvika Schechter, General Partner at Giza VC. "The mobile analytics space is ripe for innovation and Appsee's unique platform is a true differentiator in a competitive industry."

"Israel is one of the world’s leading countries for innovative technology, bringing together talented R&D teams and experienced, forward-looking executives. That’s why Appsee is such a great fit for us, and we’re delighted that our investment makes us part of a successful company with promising global potential", said Dmitry Smirnov, Managing Partner, Flint Capital.
